Spain broke a record in 2017 in the number of properties sold to foreigners. Non-residents bought in Spain 61Â 000 apartments and houses (7Â 000 more than in 2016).
In 2017 every tenth property was bought by a foreigner. In five Spanish provinces foreigners’ share in the total amount of property market transactions exceeded 30%. The biggest amount of properties bought by foreign investors is located in coastal areas. One of the most popular destinations constantly remains Malaga with beautiful Costa del sol (CdS) with every third apartment and house bought by foreigners.
